Pink Ribbon: Breast Cancer Awareness

Last month, October, was the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

I bought this bracelet from Graffities (fellow online seller here in Cebu).
It shows my support for the Breast Cancer Awareness Program. We all know that breast cancer is one of the dangerous killers among us women.

What would I be writing in this blog?

hmmm... laugh... This could contain anything that would tickle my funny bone. It could be a comic strip, a joke, or a very funny experience. I will also be giving reviews of the anime (japanese animation) or movies that I've watched and liked (coz usually I like comedy movies or shows). learn... Whatever I learn and find quite interesting, I would probably post it here too. It's always good to impart your knowledge to everyone. Anything that would make me go "ahaa! *lightbulb*" would go here for everyone to read. listen... The music that I listen to would depend on my mood. If I like releasing my anger, I go for rock or alternative music. Bossa or acoustic songs would be nice if I want to chill and relax. If I'm in love of corz love songs are what I'll be listening to. I'm open to any type of music if I'm just feeling good. And I also love to sing! :D love... Mostly the things that I would write here are the things that I love in life. I love to eat, read, sleep, sing, or just anything under the sun that would interest me. ^_^

♥ What's with the title?
Buena... feminine "good" in Spanish
Abriella... Italian for "April", my birth month and my real name "Aprille" is its modified form...
Bella... Italian or Latin for "beautiful"

When put together...
Buena! Abriella Bella
Good! Aprille the beautiful... not quite narcissistic ei? Heheheh
And they sound alike too! :D

♥ Why blog?
Ever since I was a kid, I really wanted to be into writing. I've always wanted to take up MassCom when I reach college. But suddenly, a twist of fate, I ended taking up Psychology. This is because aside from writing, I also liked to know why people behave that way and how people think. But just to relive my childhood dreams, I wanted to try writing. With the technology today, the internet provides the resources I need to do this, since writing and publishing the traditional way is quite expensive. So here I am, writing anything I could think under the sun.
